Student dental plan: Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College
Policy year is from September 1st 2024 to August 31st 2025 (fall/full-year studies)
January 1st 2025 to August 31st 2025 (winter studies)
Annual Maximum: $750
Preventive Services:
- Recall exams, cleaning/polishing, bitewings, oral hygiene instruction and fluoride are covered once every 12 months.
- Complete exam or new patient exam is covered once every 36 months.
Basic Services:
- Fillings in amalgam(metal) are covered for all teeth. Composite (white) fillings are covered for the front teeth and premolars only.
- If you choose to have your back teeth filled with composite, your claim will be reimbursed according to the amalgam fee.
- Scaling is covered up to 2 units per policy year.
Orthodontic services are not covered under this plan.
Certain exclusions and limitations may apply. Prior to dental treatment for work that is expected to cost $300 or more, students should submit a treatment plan obtained from their dentist to their insurance company for approval.
